Chicago, IL – March 28th – nuEra Chicago, a flagship dispensary location for a vertically integrated Illinois cannabis company, is proud to announce its partnership with Balanced Veterans Network (BVN) for the upcoming Breakfast Buds initiative on Saturday, March 30th. This collaborative event aims to provide a platform for veterans to engage in discussions surrounding health and wellness practices, including but not limited to medicinal cannabis.
Hosted at nuEra’s flagship Chicago dispensary facility located at 1308 W. North Avenue, the event will bring together 30 veterans, including a mix of “Canna-vets” and “Canna-curious” individuals, for a morning of camaraderie, education, and empowerment.
The Breakfast Buds program, spearheaded by CJ Cowgill, a medically retired United States Army veteran, emphasizes the importance of alternative therapies in addressing veteran-specific challenges such as suicide, addiction, and homelessness. Through facilitated discussions and presentations, veterans will have the opportunity to explore various health and wellness practices, including the potential benefits of medicinal cannabis.

This will be followed by an informative session at nuEra’s dispensary, led by Medical Cannabis Patient Advisor, Chloe Geneve. Participants will also engage with nuEra’s knowledgeable staff, gaining insights into the medicinal cannabis products and the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program Act.
