Local residents to get exclusive first look at clinically-focused medical cannabis dispensary
Wheaton, IL – NuMed CEO Bob Fitzsimmons today announced that NuMed East Peoria’s medical cannabis dispensary will open soon to qualified patients and is set to host a series of public preview events this coming week.
NuMed East Peoria, located at 504 Riverside Drive, will host public previews for the surrounding communities before officially opening to qualified Illinois patients. The general public is invited to learn more about NuMed and their clinically-focused approach at the NuMed East Peoria location. This is an exclusive, one-time only public preview of NuMed East Peoria. Per state regulations, upon opening for business, only registered patients, caregivers, and state-credentialed employees are allowed inside the dispensing area of the facility.
The preview dates and times are as follows:
- Tuesday, November 29: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 30: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The grand opening and first opportunity to purchase medical cannabis at NuMed East Peoria will be Wednesday, December 7, at 11:00 a.m.

NuMed East Peoria will serve patients in its centrally located facility, indicated Ben Rediger, who is NuMed’s consulting partner for community relations. “This safe, easy to access location gives us an opportunity to provide relief to thousands of patients in East Peoria and the surrounding communities. Working with local Illinois growers, access to pharmaceutical grade medication is sourced from the highest-quality medically focused cannabis producers in the state.”
